CoderDojo Twin Cities

CoderDojo TC

A free, friendly program where kids learn to code

Venue and parking information

CoderDojo Twin Cities is hosted at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus thanks to our partnership with MinneWebCon.

Venue

Our events take place in Bruininks Hall, formerly the Science Teaching & Student Services building (where the old science classroom building stood). It is on the East Bank of campus located just north of the Weisman Art Museum and northwest of Coffman Memorial Union.

The main entrance (next to the Washington Ave Bridge pedestrian walkway) is the building's 3rd floor. CoderDojo’s location in the building varies, so please look for signage as you enter the building.

Getting There

We don’t recommend using the building’s address with Google or Apple maps; that doesn’t work well. Instead, use this link and enter your starting address.

You can also try punching in this address into your phone or GPS:

302 East River Parkway
Minneapolis, MN

Parking

There are three good parking options for CoderDojo:

  1. The Weisman Art Museum garage [street view]
  2. East River Garage, behind Coffman Union [street view]
  3. Street parking on the East River Road next to our building [street view]

We have created a Google map with all three locations marked to help you find parking. Note that all three parking locations are accessed from the East River Road that runs alongside the Mississippi River.

Pick-up and Drop-off

Parking under 10 minutes is free in the Weisman Art Museum’s parking garage.
